Pets: Dog: Kraken
Emma is a Veterinary Assistant who combines a passion for animals with a love of science. Originally from Bennington, Nebraska, she has dedicated much of her life to learning about animal health and providing compassionate care to pets and their families.
Emma is currently continuing her education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is expected to graduate in 2026. Alongside her studies, she has built valuable hands-on experience through approximately five years of work as a veterinary assistant. She has also served as a teaching assistant for Companion Animal Nutrition and Animal Biology at UNL, helping support and educate fellow students in the field of animal science.
At home, Emma enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd, Kraken. Outside of work and school, she loves reading, listening to music, seeing friends and family, and relaxing with her dog.
A fun fact about Emma is that she named Kraken after her favorite Major League Baseball player.
